Cosme Decorte Whitelogist

Whitelogist Night Cream / Whitelogist Spots Concentration

Today I'd like to introduce you to one of my favourite Japanese brand, Cosme decorte. Cosme decorte is the high-end line of Kose and within this line itself, it also offers many different lines such as AQ, White-Science, Whitelogist, and their most popular product Moisture Liposome etc.

Whitelogist contains S-GL Kojic Acid (a combination of Kojic Acid, pateteine SS and licorice extract), which claims to target the cause of dark spots and pigmentation. Kojic acid is a well-known cosmetics ingredient for its effectiveness in lighten skin so after I discover this, I gave it a try and like many other whitening products, it helps to suppress the production of melanin after exposure to UV rays as well.

Whitelogist Spots Concentration has watery consistency that spreads easily without leaving the skin feel oily. It comes in a 25ml bottle which is relatively small comparing to a usual serum thus, a bottle only lasted me less than two month using morning/night. I'm using it in a combination with the Night Cream which has gel/cream consistency My skin type is combination with oily t-zone so I find the night cream to be a bit greasy for my liking; however, it would be perfect to use during Winter times.

After two months of using the two products during Summer, I find that my freckles on the cheeks have lighten a little bit and my overall skin tone stayed clear and translucent. Normally, I'm usually a bit tanned after Summer because of the strong UV rays up in Canada. I have been using whitening products for more than 5 years and I really like the results I'm getting from the two products. However, I believe that the serum doesn't do anything in terms of lighten the whole face skin tone but I believe it works effectively on the spots and that might be the reason why the bottle is smaller than other because it's meant to use only on the spots.

I also got samples of the Whitelogist Essence and Day Advanced and I'm liking the texture of both a lot. I especially like the fragrance of this line but for some, you might find the fragrance to be too heavy but this is normal for Japanese products. So if you do not like heavy fragrant skincare, this might not be for you.

Overall, I would recommend Whitelogist for those whose main concern is lightening spots and freckles and for those who have combination to dry skin because their day/night cream both are quite heavy and will definitely be too rich for oily skin people. Cosme decorte is quite generous in giving out samples so don't hesitate to ask them.
